How to use the Activity Friend Finder App
Download the app from the app store, register and start using it!
1. The first time, register
Next time, just log in.
2. Fill in your details and add a profile picture
3. Start from the app's home screen
4. Search for a friend by location and/or activity
Find a friend to join you at events or gigs too!
5. Click on the post
6. Send message
7. Suggest and agree on a meeting place using the map
Move the pointer to the desired location; don’t share your home address unless you want to.
8. Find a friend yourself and create your own post!
Start by tapping the PLUS button (+) on the home screen. Select the activity, location and time.
9. Add more detailed information
In the “Your description” section, you can add more detailed information to your post.
10. All the latest posts are on the home screen
Browse your own posts from the bottom of the menu.
Principles for a safer space
Every user has the right to feel welcome and safe without fear of discrimination, harassment, or sexual, physical, or verbal abuse. It is up to each of us through our own actions to contribute to creating a safer space. In addition to app users, all staff members should be treated kindly and their work respected.
UN’s Safer Space Principles:
Respect others’ personal physical and mental space.
Respect self-determination. Remember, you cannot know someone else’s boundaries without asking.
Do not mock, ridicule, belittle, exclude, or embarrass anyone through your words, behavior, or actions. Avoid judging appearances, gossiping, or reinforcing stereotypes.
Listen and learn. Welcome new topics, people, and perspectives with an open mind. Treat every encounter and situation as an opportunity to learn and grow.
Apologize if you have hurt others, intentionally or unintentionally. If you notice someone behaving inappropriately or otherwise violating the Safer Space principles, intervene.
Harassment Situations
The app includes Report and Block features. In cases of repeated incidents, send a message to the app’s contact support or report the suspected crime to the police.
